Whitestone School Site

In 1923, Cedar Park and Block House schools consolidated to form the new Whitestone School. Build of native rock donated by the Allen Quarry, the school originally stood on the northwest corner of US 183 and RR 1431. In 1952, Whitestone School was consolidated with LISD but soon closed, only later to be dismantled due to roadway improvements. The vacated site is located at the northwest corner of FM1431 and US 183.
