McRae Cemetery

The McRaes, a farming family were some of the original founders of the nearby town of Buttercup, as were the Dodd family. Some McRaes are buried in this family cemetery, which was part of the McRae farm. Located at the intersection of Cypress Creek Road and Sun Chase Blvd., the cemetery contains a marker for Monroe McRae, but his wife and other family members are known to rest there also.
