Bonnet Cemetery
In 1899, Henry D. Bonnet established this cemetery after his wife, Louisa, died during the birth of twins, who also dies at childbirth. He later remarried, but insisted he be buried beside Louisa. Bonnet was an experienced carpenter who helped build the historic Texas State Capital building. Located on top of a plateau in the M.E. Ruby quarry off Lime Creek Road.
