Cypress School

The original log schoolhouse was established in the 1860s. It was replaced in 1877 by a one-sotry wood frame building, which remained in operation until 1937. The current school was built by Leander LSD in 1987. Located on El Salido in front of Cypress Elementary School, the marker is partially hidden by trees.
